Daniela Flores
President
As President, I shall be to preside and conduct all the meetings and assist in implementing all programs, events, and activities of the association. I will also serve as a liaison between USWA and the School of Social Work.

Genesis Smith
Vice-President
The duties of the Vice-President shall be to assume the duties of the President when the President is unable to do so. The Vice-President will work with the President in planning programs for all association members.

Miriam (mimi) Morales
Treasurer
As treasurer, I shall be to maintain accurate financial records pertaining to the organization, apply for the annual AS funding, collect and disburse funds as directed by the organization, make monthly financial reports to the general membership and executive board.

Diana Morales
Secretary and Member Relations Officer
I currently hold two officer positions. As secretary, I shall be to record the minutes of each meeting, and maintain accurate records of the association activities.
As member relation officer, I shall create and distribute a monthly newsletter, send emails to members on behalf of the association, coordinate classroom announcements, keep all member contact info up to date, and keep the cork board up to date which is located in the social work office.

Lesly Anguiano
Student Representative
As Student Representative, I shall be a liaison between the officers, students and other organizations. This includes attending the monthly social work faculty meetings, College of Health & Human Sciences Student Affairs Committee (CHHS-SAC), NASW-South Bay Chapter and SWGSA meetings as needed.

Cora Asunción
Education & Empowerment Officer
As Education & Empowerment officer, I shall help plan events that increase and enhance social work knowledge and skills through workshops, speakers, training and authentic conversations. This may include but is not limited NASW Lobby Days, open discussion forums, and sponsoring guest speakers.

Isabel Lopez
Social Media Officer
As social media officer, I will oversee all USWA social media platforms, which includes Instagram, Facebook, Twitter and www.uswasjsu.com. This also includes creating flyers on behalf of the organization, publishing announcements, activities, deadlines, and events on social media and our website.

Jennifer Vasquez
Social Media Officer
As social media officer, I will oversee all USWA social media platforms, which includes Instagram, Facebook, Twitter and www.uswasjsu.com. This also includes creating flyers on behalf of the organization, publishing announcements, activities, deadlines, and events on social media and our website.

Kaylin Trinh
Social Media Officer
As social media officer, I will oversee all USWA social media platforms, which includes Instagram, Facebook, Twitter and www.uswasjsu.com. This also includes creating flyers on behalf of the organization, publishing announcements, activities, deadlines, and events on social media and our website.

Mya Gates
Merchandise Coordinator
As merchandise officer, I shall be to oversee the apparel program. This includes but is not limited to keeping track of inventory, shipping orders, coordinating pickups, creating apparel and other promotional items.

Nhi Pham
Member Relations Officer
As member relation officer, I shall create and distribute a monthly newsletter, send emails to members on behalf of the association, coordinate classroom announcements, keep all member contact info up to date, and keep the cork board up to date which is located in the social work office.

Viviane Pham
Social Event Coordinator
As social events officer, I shall organize and oversee major events hosted by the association, including and not limited to the annual Social Work Gala, Sunny Side of Social Work, Zoom Social, Comedy Night, Friendsgiving, and Back to School Event.

Christina Olivo
Graduation Coordinator
As graduation officer, I will partner with the SWGSA graduation coordinator in planning for the annual social work graduation “convocation” by forming a committee. Duties may include but is not limited to securing a venue, ordering photographers, decorations, stoles, and other duties that may apply.

Marina Aguiar
Graduation Coordinator
As graduation officer, I will partner with the SWGSA graduation coordinator in planning for the annual social work graduation “convocation” by forming a committee. Duties may include but is not limited to securing a venue, ordering photographers, decorations, stoles, and other duties that may apply.

Emily Bruce
Advisor
The duties of the Advisor shall be to support and guide the organization when necessary. The Advisor will also work with the President as a liaison for the organization, faculty and School of Social Work.
